The person hired will run branch operations, which includes taking bets, raising stakes, handling money, paying out winnings, assisting customers, and following regulations.

-1-2 years’ experience in the Gaming industry.

Your responsibilities will include:
Helping Branch Growth:
-Ensure betting boards are updated timeously.
-Updating of memos, card changes, results and scratching which occur throughout the day.
-Know all the betting rules, odds, and payouts.
-Know the betting limits and contact the relevant departments before accepting bets over those limits.
-Tell supervisors when taking big bets that don’t need approval.
Managing Sales:
-Manage cash within the branch according to defined processes/procedures and minimize risks,
Theft/fraud.
-Team members are to be alert to emerging attempts to defraud the company.
Handling Cash Management:
-Team members are to ensure they have the accurate float amounts at the beginning of their shift to ensure that balancing occurs at end of day.
-Team leaders should check the cash during the day.
-Any cash that is missing must be taken care of right away. If it’s less than R250.00, the staff member must pay it back into the Hollywood that same day.
-All cash differences, both shortages and overages, must be reported to the team leader and written down correctly.
Branch Condition:
-Keep the branch clean and organized, following Hollywood’s standards.
-Keep your workspace in good shape.
-Comply with all procedures to prevent losses to the company, advising your branch /senior team leaders promptly of any problems/malfunction with the terminals /equipment/resources (e.g. TV display of results,Off-line)
Customer Care:
-Always be friendly, helpful, polite, and respectful to customers.
-Deal with customer complaints quickly and give customers good feedback.
-Get to know regular customers well.
-Make customer service a top priority in the branch and always serve customers with a positive attitude.
Compliance:
-Follow the company’s rules for how things should be done.
-Obey the ethics rules and report any dishonest actions.
-Team members must wear the correct Hollywood uniform while working.
-Team members are not allowed to accept bets on credit.
-Team members cannot take bets while working and wearing the Hollywood uniform.
-Team members can place bets as customers when they are not working and not wearing the Hollywood uniform.
-Team members are not allowed behind the terminal counters when they are not working.
-Team members who are working cannot use the Limited pay-out machine.
