RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help your team leader or supervisor reach the work goals.
• Check your assigned area daily.
• Organize and control tailings on the site and where they are stored.
• Help solve work problems and tell your supervisor about any issues.
• Follow the company’s rules and procedures.
• Always follow all safety rules and laws, as well as company safety steps.
• Extend and connect pipes.
• Open and close valves as needed for operations.
• Be accountable for your work.
• Keep your work area clean and tidy.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed Grade 12 or Equivalent

EXPERIENCE

• 0 – 2 years relevant experience in an earth moving or familiar environment

REQUIREMENTS

• Tailings Dam Operation background / experience in the mining or related industry for at least 2 years will be advantageous

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Need to know the important work rules.
• Should be healthy enough for mining work.
• Need to pass the mine’s background check.
• May have to work extra hours sometimes.
