Description:
Lesaka Technologies needs a Front Desk Receptionist for our office in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
This job involves more than just answering phones. You’ll need to be good at managing the office, helping executives, and planning events. We need someone who can keep the office running smoothly, take care of meeting rooms, arrange food and transportation, and help with important meetings and company events.
What you will do:
Front Desk & Office Coordination:
-Welcome and assist executives, investors, and clients professionally.
-Manage meeting rooms, control who enters the office, and keep the office looking nice.
-Make sure the technology works for meetings, including audio-visual equipment, video calls, and presentations.
-Oversee cleaning services, office maintenance, and transport scheduling.
-Manage daily catering needs and coordinate refreshments for meetings and events.
Meeting & Event Support:
-Plan quarterly board meetings, presentations for investors, and company get-togethers.
-Arrange catering, logistics, and tech support for key meetings and corporate events.
-Help the Executive Assistant with office tasks and travel plans.
-Help the Brand & Communications team plan staff events.
Finance & Administration:
-Handle petty cash and office-related expenses.
-Process vendor invoices and coordinate payments with the finance team.
-Track and reconcile office purchases, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Internal Staff Coordination:
-Align staff schedules and coordinate office support teams.
-Oversee internal meeting bookings and workspace allocations.
Flexibility & Extended Hours:
-Available to work late when required, especially for board meetings and investor events.
-Adaptable to last-minute scheduling changes and executive support needs.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
-Matric (Grade 12) required.
-A diploma or degree in Office Administration, Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field is advantageous.
-Bookkeeping or financial admin experience is a plus.
Experience & Skills:
-At least 2 years working as a Receptionist, Office Coordinator, or Executive Assistant in a professional office.
-Experience handling important clients, planning events, ordering food, and running office tasks.
-Good at using Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
-Strong organizational and communication skills.
-Willingness to work later than usual for important executive tasks.
